On Sunday January 27, 2019 at 10:04 pm Deputies received a report of a woman shot in the parking lot of Garden Way apartments in Center Point. The victim was shot when she parked her car in front of the apartments. The shooter was a male who fled on foot after firing the shots. The victim was struck in the side. Neighbors who heard the shots rendered aide until deputies and paramedics arrived. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment. Detectives are working to determine what happened. The victim’s injuries are described as serious.
