At about 8:00 pm tonight deputies were called to a home in the 2200 block of 7th Street NE in Center Point to investigate a report of a person who had been shot.
They arrived to find an adult male victim lying in the driveway suffering a gunshot wound. He was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Information at the scene is that three males in a red sedan pulled up in front of the house. Shots were fired from inside the car. The victim was struck one time.
The investigation is ongoing. Updates will be provided as they become available.
