Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a shooting in the McDonald’s Chapel area where two people were injured.
At about 3:00 this afternoon deputies responded to a shooting complaint at a convenience store in the 3200 block of Birmingport Road.
It was reported that several shots had been fired between two groups of men in the store parking lot. Two adult men involved had been shot and transported to an area hospital in private cars. The nature and extent of their injuries is unknown.
