Shooting Investigation

Just after 3:00 pm yesterday afternoon deputies were dispatched to Minor Fire Station to investigate a report of person shot. The 26-year old male victim was transported by ambulance to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

It was reported that the victim had been cleaning a vacant mobile home in the 6700 block of Kiska Avenue when a suspect described as a black male driving a Honda Civic came to the mobile home where an argument ensued ending with the suspect firing a shot striking the victim once.

Detectives have not yet been able to question to the victim and no motive has been established.
