On Saturday, July 11, 2020 at approximately 11:00 PM, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the 4400 Block of Mudcreek Road in Adger to investigate a single vehicle automobile accident. Once on the scene, deputies found a 2004 Toyota Tundra had left the roadway and struck an embankment. The 63-year-old male driver had succumbed to injuries obtained in the accident. There were no other occupants. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
