Suspect Left Empty Handed After Passing Robbery Note to Drive-Thru Teller

Just before 1:30 pm yesterday afternoon an adult male suspect pulled into the drive thru at Regions Bank in Graysville. He passed the teller a note demanding money in $50 and $100 denominations be placed in a plastic bag and passed back to him. He drove off without being given any money.

The suspect was described as a black male with a mustache, wearing women’s sunglasses and a curly black wig. He was driving a black Ford Fusion.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information or that can identify the suspect from the photo is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 205-325-1450 or Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777.
