On Saturday January 15, 2022 at 8:29pm citizens called 911 to report a three car wreck on Pinson Valley Parkway near the intersection of Meadow Craft Road. Deputies arrived and found one person deceased, one person with minor injuries and another person uninjured. Witnesses on the scene informed deputies that the driver of one of the cars had fled the scene on foot. Deputies searched for the fleeing driver but were unable to locate him. One person was transport to the hospital for treatment. Evidence left on the scene will help identify the driver who fled. This wreck is being investigated by the Sheriff’s Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team.
