Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 1500 block of Center Point Parkway.
At about 11:15 this morning deputies were called to investigate a traffic accident involving three vehicles and a pedestrian in the 1500 block of Center Point Parkway.
The pedestrian, an adult female died at the scene from injuries sustained in the accident. Two other people sustained minor injuries.
The pedestrian involved was a city of Center Point employee who had been planting flowers in the median when she was struck by a vehicle.
The Sheriff’s Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team is on the way to the scene to conduct the investigation.
The name of the deceased is withheld pending notification of family.
