On Friday October 28, 2022 at 3:53am Jefferson County Deputies were dispatched to investigate a traffic accident near 200 Woodward Road in Midfield. Deputies arrived on the scene and found that a pedestrian had been hit by a vehicle. Paramedics attended to the pedestrian, but he did not survive his injuries. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team was dispatched to investigate the incident. The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
