Traffic Stop in McCalla Yields Meth, Cocaine and Pills

On October 13, 2020, Deputies from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office SNET team executed a traffic stop in the 800 block of Delta Street in McCalla.  During the stop, the driver, of the vehicle was found to be in possession of over 86 grams of methamphetamine, 2 grams of cocaine, an assortment of illegal pills, drug paraphernalia and over $2900 in currency.

Timothy Blake Allen Swafford was placed under arrest for trafficking in methamphetamine, 3 counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substances and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.  His bonds total $181,000.
