Two Shot in Pinson

At approximately 7:29 a.m. this morning, Jefferson County deputies responded to the 3000 block of Rose Hill Drive to investigate a report of a person shot.  Upon arrival, deputies discovered a 63-year-old male and a 74-year -old male, both suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.  Palmerdale Fire & Rescue arrived at the scene and transported the victims to a local hospital.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the two men are brothers and that they were involved in a verbal altercation that led to shots being fired. The case is still under investigation.
