On Thursday August 8, 2019 human remains were found near Shady Grove road and Village Creek. The body has been identified as Shawn David Jackson dob 12-5-69. Shawn Jackson was reported missing from Clayton County Georgia on July 7, 2019. This case is being worked by Jefferson County investigators and investigators from Clayton County Georgia.
