61 year old Margaret Whaley reported missing at 4:00pm on Monday April 27, 2020 was located around 11:30pm. Ms. Whaley had left the Cherry Hill Rehabilitation Center on Jeff Germany Parkway and was found several miles away near the Flying J convenience store on Daniel Payne Boulevard. Ms. Whaley was transported to a local hospital to be evaluated. Volunteers with the Red Mountain Search and Rescue team, the Birmingham Police Department, Sheriff’s Office Star 1 and the Sheriff’s K9 unit assisted in the search for Ms. Whaley.
