Detectives are searching for suspects who opened fire on a white Crown Victoria that was occupied by 5 individuals early Saturday morning. That shooting killed 15 year old, Pharrell Devion Jackson of Bessemer. Three other victim’s were also struck by gunfire. A 19 year old female, a 22 year old male and another male, who has not yet been positively identified, all remain hospitalized from gunshot wounds. An additional 19 year old female occupant sustained minor injuries during the shooting.
According to reports, the victims had been at the Crowne Club in Ensley earlier. It is possible that there was a verbal altercation at the Club. It is unknown if the altercation is related. Detectives are continuing the investigation into the shooting.
