Update Tuesday April 4, 2023:  Jefferson County investigators have charged 19-year-old Matthew Jacob Jeffery with murder in the death of a 15-year-old-victim on Monday April 3, 2023.  Jeffery is being held without bond in the Jefferson County jail.
