At approximately 8:15 a.m. this morning, Fultondale Police Department responded to an accident that occurred near Carson Road and Candy Mountain Road. The accident involved a deputy that was driving a Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office vehicle that caught fire. Two other vehicles were involved as well. Both Fultondale and Center Point Fire and Rescue Units responded to the scene. There were no reported injuries.
The accident is still being investigated. All questions pertaining to the accident should be made to the Fultondale Police Department.
