On August 9, 2025, at approximately 10:46 a.m., Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to the1300 block of 5th Place N.W., Center Point, Alabama to investigate a report of possible human remains being located. Upon arrival, Deputies discovered possible human remains.
The remains will be gathered by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office to make a determination as to whether the remains are human or not.
