On April 7, 2026, detectives with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office arrested a deputy assigned to the Jefferson County Jail.
The suspect has been identified as Cameron Lee, 21. Lee has been charged with Use of Official Position or Office for Personal Gain. His bond was set at $10,000, and he has since been released from the Jefferson County Jail.
Lee has been placed on administrative leave without pay.
