At 9:26 AM on May 1, 2020, Deputies were called to the 9100 Block of Cedar Mountain Road to investigate the shooting of an 11 year-old boy. According to Deputies, the boy and his father were turkey hunting with another pair of hunters when the shooting occurred. Medical personnel responded to the scene. Attempts to save the child’s life were unsuccessful. The shooting remains under investigation.
