Around 5:40 PM tonight, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the 1700 block of Huitt Street in Forestdale on a male who was found in a vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds, Upon arrival deputies found that a 57-year-old male had wrecked his vehicle at this location. The homeowner went out to check on the driver and found that he had been shot, Medics arrived on scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
