On Friday October 13, 2023, at 5:46pm Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of gunshots near the 1800 block of Martinique Dr. NE in Center Point. Deputies arrived and found that a 16-year-old and a 19-year-old had been injured by gunfire. Both of the victims were transported to local hospitals to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Jefferson County investigators are reviewing video and talking to witnesses to this offense to determine what happened.
