On Thursday, October 16, 2025, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with the Argo Police Department, Birmingham Police Department, FBI, Fultondale Police Department, Gardendale Police Department, Tarrant Police Department, Vestavia Police Department, and Bessemer Police Department, conducted Operation Alliance Shield.
