Around 3:00 PM today, Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies, assisted by a multitude of other agencies, located a body in Bayview Lake. The body is thought to be that of missing kayaker, Richard Fields. The discovery follows an extensive search that began on January 30th, after family members reported Mr. Fields went missing while fishing on Bayview Lake. The body has been transferred to the Jeferson County Medical Examiner’s Office, to perform an autopsy to confirm the identity of the body and cause of death.
