On July 3, 2022, 27-year-old, Jordan McCoy was arrested after being involved in a domestic altercation that occurred in the Forestdale area. He is currently employed as a Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputy. McCoy was booked into the Jefferson County Jail in Bessemer at 3:16 AM and has since been released on bond. McCoy has been placed on administrative leave, pending the results of an internal investigation.
