The Jefferson County Sheriffs Office has received official communication from the Jefferson County Commission regarding the implementation of the commission’s new curfew ordinance. The curfew went into effect, today, June 2, 2020 At 7 PM, and will last until June 9, 2020. It will be in effect each day from 7 PM until 6 AM. It is necessary that the sheriff’s office receive official communication from the commissioner’s office In order to enforce an ordinance. Now that official communication has been received, the Sheriff’s Office will have the capability to implement it’s restrictions.
