Just before 7:00 PM last night, Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 3300 block of Erwin Dairy Road in North Jefferson County, on reports of a single vehicle traffic accident. The 62-year-old male driver was transported from the scene to UAB hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival. Deputies are conducting the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
