Dispute between Families Leaves 2 Wounded

On Sunday November 10, 2019 at 6:50pm Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 500 block of Osceola Circle in Fairfield to investigate a disturbance.  Deputies arrived on the scene and found that two people had been shot at that location.  A 28 year old man had a gunshot wound to his leg and a 28 year old woman had a gunshot wound to her chest.  Both injured people were transported to local hospitals to be treated.  The shooting appears to be the result of an argument and fight between families.  Detectives are questioning everyone involved in this offense.  No arrest have been made at this time.  Both shooting victims are expected to survive.
